I am a guy who has straight hair. I need to use gel to help keep my hair from flying around and hanging in my face. This KMS gel has a very thick consistency. When you put some in your hand, it stays in a blob and does not "run". A little goes a long way and it smells good. It's not a girlie smell and it's not an old-fashion smell. I guess you could say it has a modern, uni-sex fragrance. It holds my hair without feeling sticky or stiff. And the best part is that it's easy to wash off your hands. I recommend it.
