1 out of 5 stars Way Too Hot!   July 25, 2010
fnortner13 (Port St Lucie, FL)
I was looking for a small lightweight blow dryer for traveling and this one seemed to have the qualities that I wanted. The first and only time that I used it this dryer not only burned my hair but it burned the skin on the side of my neck. The dryer has only one heat setting HOT!!!!!! (other than cold). I'm just glad that it didn't do any permanent damage to my hair. I returned it immediately because I believe that it was defective. Why would any company design a "pro" hair dryer that gets so hot that it burns?

5 out of 5 stars Everyone should invest in a great hair dryer   May 16, 2010
Michelle Dear
A great hair dryer is a must. The longer the heat is on your hair, the more damage you can do. This product reduces drying time considerably. I have long hair, and I can dry my hair in about four to five minutes now. And I can still dry it using the proper methodology provided by my hair dresser ensuring that the cuticle is dried down rather than up.

If you spend your money on anything for your hair, make sure it is good shampoo and conditioner, and a good hair dryer. I would have bought a different product that he wanted me to buy with is very expensive, but I went with this one and am glad I did. I know that $70 plus dollars sounds like a lot, but it has made a huge difference in the luster of my hair; and I am three months overdue for my color and cut.

Go for it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Dryer   March 5, 2010

Nice and light weight, long cord and dries hair very well. I've enjoyed the dryer!

5 out of 5 stars Will never go back to a cheap blow dryer!!   March 1, 2010
Cheryl Gammon (Bartlesville Ok USA)
It was actually a gift for my mom, but i love it so much i walk up to her room to dry my hair everyday. Guess i know what i want for christmas. :) It makes my hair look sooo much healthier and cuts drying time in half. I'm VERY happy with the purchase!

2 out of 5 stars Really Hot Heat   February 14, 2010
Elliot James (Chicago)
I bought this product because it was recommended in a book for black women with natural hair. I have very thick, dense, coarse hair. I just started blowing my hair out to flat iron it. I'm comparing this dryer to my Vidal Sasson Ionizer dryer I bought a few years back for $40. Thy drying time was a little bit faster, about 45 minutes with the FHI compared to about an hour with the Vidal Sasson dryer. But the FHI dryer didn't cause my hair to be any straighter, shiner, etc. etc. As a matter of fact the heat was really hot; so hot I had to alternate drying on high and low because the high heat was way too high. You absolutely have to keep moving the dryer briskly as you dry. If you keep it in one place too long (like more than 2 seconds, I am not exaggerating) you will burn you hair and skin. The end product after the same deep conditioners and protectants I always use, was drier, more brittle hair than when I used my other hairdryer. I think this dryer is is just too harsh. I'm returning it.
